Mayor (State Minister) of Rangpur City Corporation Alhaj Sarfuddin Ahmed Jhantu on Saturday said the businesspersons are the driving force and strongest backbone of the national economy.
“The business community people should remain united for further strengthening national economy,” Jhantu, also a valiant freedom fighter, said this while launching Rangpur Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RMCCI) in a ceremony here as the chief guest.
The RMCCI organised the ceremony for launching activities of the newly formed organisation of the business community people of the city at its office situated in ‘Milan Tower’ in Shalbon area here.
Director of FBCCI and former President of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Mosaddek Hossain Bablu attended the ceremony as the special guest with Convener of RMCCI Rezaul Islam Litan in the chair.
