The Jashore Municipality Mayor Jahirul Islam Chaklader Rantu’s decided to put all sorts of business outlets excluding pharmacies, restaurants, kitchen market and groceries on lockdown from yesterday at a meeting was held at Conference Room of Deputy Commissioner on Sunday afternoon.
Mohammad Shafiul Arif, Deputy Commissioner, Jashore chaired the meeting which was attended among others business leaders and the mayor. The mayor, earlier, took the decision at a meeting with traders at the municipality to put business outlets on lock down from Monday. The DC however, told , the business leaders were given responsibility to take decision about closure of business outlets.
