With a new outlook and a festive environment a business fair was held on Sunday at Manarat Dhaka International School and College (MDIC) in the city, said a press release.
Enamul Haque, FCA, Adviser of the college, Financial Specialist of World Bank and Asian Development Bank inaugurated the fair. College principal Brig Gen. (Retd.) Md. Mehdi Hasan Pramanic, PSC, Vice-principal Fatima Jemaima Rahman, Munshi Md. Harun-Ar Rashid and the convener of the business fair Musfiqua Rahman were present in this fair among others.
An inter-class trade fair was also arranged in both boy’s and girl’s fields. There were as many as forty stalls. Including stalls for food, books, electronic items, artifacts and other stalls as well. Through this trade fair, students practically acquired knowledge of working as entrepreneurs.
The fair was organized under the supervision of the Department of Business Studies to give vent to the latent talents of the students of business and commerce group. All faculties, employees, students attended the fair as well as the parents as invited guests, the press release informed.
