Bus torched in Savar

A bus was set on fire, hurling petrol bomb on the Dhaka-Aricha highway at Genda in Savar on the outskirts of the capital on Friday morning.
A passenger was injured while trying to get down from the bus hurriedly. But his name could not be known instantly.
On information, police rushed to the spot and doused the flame with the help of local people.
Witnesses said that a gang of miscreants hurled a petrol bomb on a Dhaka-bound bus of ‘Rajanigandha Paribahan’ coming from
Rajshahi at about 4:30 am. No one so far been rounded up in this connection.
Motaleb Mia, Officer-in-Charge of Savar Police Station, said a passenger was injured while trying to alight from the bus hurriedly. He
was rushed to Enam Medical College and Hospital, said the OC.
 “A case will be filed in this regard. Police is trying to arrest the culprits,” the OC said.
