Miscreants torched a bus at Nikunja-2 in the city’s Khilkhet area on Sunday morning on the first day of another 72-hour countrywide hartal, enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance. Fire Service control room sources said a ‘Bismillah Paribahan’ bus was set afire in the area at about 10:40 am. Informed, a fire fighting unit rushed in and doused the blaze.
