At least five people were killed and 20 others were injured in a bus-CNG head-on collision at Dhuliakhal in the district on Saturday morning. According to sources, a Sylhet bound bus and a CNG collided head-on in Amtali area at around 7.30am, leaving four dead on the spot. The deceased were identified as Jesmin Akhter (22), daughter of Sanjab Ali, Shamchhu Mia (60), son of the late Samor Uddin, Kritish Das (26), son of Khetmohan Dash, Sujit Dash (48), son of Harlal Das, and Monir Mia (50).
