A fire passenger bus caught fire at BRTC counter in the capital’s Kamalapur area. Upon receiving the news, 4 units of fire service reached the spot and brought the fire under control within 20 minutes.
Rozina Akhter, duty officer at the fire service headquarters, said we received news of a fire in a BRTC bus inside the BRTC depot in Kamalapur around 6.20 pm. Immediately after receiving the news, 4 units of firemen were sent to the spot.
Anisur Rahman, station officer at the fire service headquarters, told the media that fire service personnel brought the fire under control within 20 minutes. However, the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
