City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin on Wednesday announced that a burn unit of 10- bed will be introduced in CCC General Hospital very shortly.
He disclosed it at a seminar held at CCC auditorium on Tuesday as Chief Guest.
An area plan of healthcare services in the metropolitan areas of Chittagong for strengthening the healthcare of the city dwellers was presented to city mayor in the seminar as prepared by ICDDRB .
City Mayor disclosed that the proposed burn unit in CCC Hospital will provide services to the burn patients .
Besides, dental and opthamology treatment are also exited in the CCC general hospital, he said. City Mayor said city dwellers are getting medicare services in payment of Tk. Only . Chief executive office of CCC Kazi Md. Shafiul Alam, Civil surgeon of Ctg. Dr. Azizur Rahman siddiqui, chief health officer of CCC Dr. Selim Akhter chowdhury, ICDDRB senior social scientist Prof. Allen Adams, panel mayor Hasan Mahmud Hasni and ward councilors were present in the seminar, sources said.
