Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) organized the Faculty Day for BUP teachers on Tuesday by the initiative of the Office of the Evaluation, Faculty, and Curriculum Development (OEFCD) at Bijoy Auditorium on its campus.
In the day-long programme, Major General Sheikh Mamun Khaled, SUP, rcds, psc, PhD, Commandant, Bangladesh Ordnance Factories (BOF) was present as the Chief Guest and BUP Vice Chancellor Major General Md Emdad-Ul-Bari, ndc, psc, te was present as special guest.
The main objective of this programme is to build up relationship among the faculty members of the university, to focus on professional development in implementing Active Learning, to provide student-centric education and to play a more effective role in educating teachers and students.
The day-long program organized by the OFCDD was arranged through a variety of programmes including lectures, Presentation, interactive sessions, question-answer sessions, pitta festivals, curriculum related discussions and, above all, to improve teachers’ quality for the purpose of implementing BUP Vision 2030. The day’s programme was ended with awarding certificates to the teachers by the respected VC of BUP.
Pro-VC Prof M Abul Kashem Mozumder, PhD, Treasurer Air Cdre Md Abdus Samad Azad, bsp, ndu, psc, PhD, Registrar Brig Gen Abul Kashem Md Ibrahim, ndc, afwc, psc, Deans of all Faculties and Teachers of BUP were present in the discussion.
