Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) celebrated its 10th Founding Anniversary amid great enthusiasm and festivity among the students, teachers and staff vowing to work for establishing BUP as a leading public university in Bangladesh and in the region. Buildings were illuminated with making colored arcades in the entrance gate to celebrate its raising day. The University corridors and roads were also decorated with colorful banners, festoons and different flags.
The daylong programme was started on Tuesday at BUP Concourse. BUP Vice Chancellor Major General Md Emdad-Ul-Bari, ndc, psc, te inaugurated the daylong program by cutting a cake, releasing pigeons and BUP logo included balloons at campus premises. Afterwards, BUP VC, Pro-VC Prof M Abul Kashem Mozumder, PhD and all members of BUP took part in a colorful rally.
The joyful rally passed through the key points of the campus. The VC thanked the students and staff for their presence. Later on, the BUP family enjoyed a cultural function arranged in observance of the 10th raising day.
