Quizzers Society of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) organised BUP 2nd National Quiz Festival 2019 from 15 to 16 this month. About 400 students from 15 schools, 12 colleges and 15 universities including more than 100 students from both Hon’s and Master’s programs of BUP took part in the event. The parents were also present in the event to encourage the participants.
In the festival, quizzers from different universities, colleges and schools competed with each other in 11 quiz segments, which are: Art, Culture and Literature Quiz, Bangladesh and Liberation War, Movie, TV and Entertainment Quiz, Sports Quiz, Geography and History Quiz, Harry Potter Quiz, Wall Magazine, IQ Test, Junior Quiz Competition, Inter-University Quiz Competition and Quiz League.
The competition had 3 types of awards (Champion, First runner up, Second Runner up) those were awarded to the best amongst the participants which were distributed by the chief guest Pro-Vice Chancellor of BUP Prof M Abul Kashem Mozumder, PhD. Brigadier General Saif-Ur-Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies were present as special guest.
The faculty Members of Department of International Relations and also other departments were present at the event. The Competition ended with the vote of thanks by the Chairman of Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies Lieutenant Colonel Md. Rabiul Alam (Retired).
