Bullet injured body of kidnapped fisherman recovered from Sundarbans

Bullet injured dead body of a fisherman who was kidnapped by the jungle pirates 3 days ago was recovered from Bhadra area under Chandpai Forest Range in the Eastern Division of Sundarbans on Friday.
 Another fisherman named Emran is still missing.
Fshermen and locals said , on Tuesday Luis Izaradar alias Nishi, a fisherman of Chila area under Mongla Upazila in the district and his fellow friend Subrota Mistry went to Bhadra canal of the forest for fishing . At about 2-30 pm while they were catching fish in the canal, some jungle pirates belonging to Dhalu Bahini appeared there and kidnapped fisherman Nishi from his boat to realise a sum of Tk.30 thousand as ransom and asked Subrota Mistry to bring the money for the release of the kidnapped fisherman.
 It is learnt from Subrota Mistry, fellow friend of Nishi that at about 3-30 pm RAB raided the area for conducting an operation there. And at that time it was being heard the sound of gun fighting in the deep forest. In the gun fight Dhalu, ring leader of Dhalu Bahini and Baschu, the second-in-command were killed and six members of the gang were arrested. After the incident no trace of kidnapped Nishi was found. Then Subrota and reltives of Nishi searched the area and on Friday at noon and found the dead body of Nishi was found near the canal. The dead body that sustained bullet injuries was tied with a branch of a tree. Later the dead body was taken back to his village.
