Police recovered the bullet-hit body of a young man from a ditch behind Boralia Primary School polling centre in sadar upazila on Sunday .
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, said Abul Kalam Azad, officer-in-charge of Chandraganj Police Station.
The bullet body was sent to sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy, said the OC. Meanwhile, locals said a gunfight between two groups took place in the area around 10:30 pm.
