Police here on Wednesday recovered the bullet-hit body of an accused in two Tripura girls killing case from Chhoto Darogahat area in Sitakunda upazila in the district.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Rajib, 27, son of Mohammad Hanif. Officer-in-charge of Sitakunda Police Station Mozammel Haque said locals spotted the body of Rajib on a field in the area

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Rajib, 27, son of Mohammad Hanif. Officer-in-charge of Sitakunda Police Station Mozammel Haque said locals spotted the body of Rajib on a field in the area
and informed police. The body bore several marks of bullet wounds while two Yaba pills were recovered from his pocket, he said, Police said the youth might have been killed by his rival group over drug trading. Earlier on May 18, two teenage girls – Sukhlati Tripura, 15, daughter of Falin Tripura and Chhobi Rani Tripura, 12, daughter of Sumon Tripura, were found dead at Jangal Mahadevpur hilly village in Sitakunda upazila. Father of Sukhlati Tripura alleged that stalker Abul Hossain and his associates killed the girls after ‘rape’ as his daughter refused his proposal to develop a love affair.
