Daughter of legendary film actor Bulbul Ahmed, Oindrila arranged a musical soiree titled Mohanayok-er Dinguli held at a city hotel in Gulshan area to pay tribute to her father recently.
In the programme, Oindrila rendered popular playback songs of those movies where his father performed.
In the beginning of the programme, wife of Bulbul Ahmed, Daisy Ahmed recalled memories of her husband. Then main programme began. Oindrila at first rendered a song titled Bhalobeshey prem-er khela kheltey hoi from Amzad Hossain’s directed movie Jonmo Thekey Jolchhi.
Later Oindrila rendered other popular songs like Jonmo thekey jolchhi maago, Shoto jonom-er swapno tumi aamar jibon-e eley, Abar du’jon-e dekha holo and Je kotha nirobey bhasha khonjey.
Oindrila also presented a duet song along with her husband Zia in the song titled Jodi bou sajogo from movie Wada.
The programme was wrapped up with the rendition of National Anthem.
