A four-storey building has reportedly tilted at Dhaka’s Kadamtali.
Fire Service Control Room official Palash Chandra Modok said two units were sent after they were told about the tilt around 1:45pm on Tuesday. He said the four-storey building apparently leaned towards an adjacent six-storey building at Mohammadbagh College Road in Ahammadbagh.
He said RAJUK and the city corporation had also been informed. “It will be clear once the experts arrive,” he added. Kadamtali Police Station Inspector Md Arshadul Islam said both the owners of the buildings said the other building tilted to one side of their building. “So it’s difficult to say now which building has tilted,” he added.
