Deputy Commissisoner of Chittagong Mesbahuddin called for building social movement against the child labour .
He was addressing the round table meet in observation of World Child Labour Resistance Day arranged at Shilpakala Academy here on Thursday as Chief Guest.
Deputy commissioner said with the advantages of poverty, some unscrupulous quarters engage child labour in hotels, restaurants, factories, business houses and as house servant with poor amount of salary.
He also disclosed that govt is providing different scopes for education for the poors and child welfare but lack of awareness, these children are being deprieved from that scopes.
He said there is no alternatives of resistance to child labour and child repression.
Chief coordinator of World vision, Chittagong Golam Ehsanul Habib presided over it and the Associate /editor of Dainik Azadi Kabi Rashed Rouf was the moderator in the round table.
Project manager of WV Kamal Sarkar, Acting Manager of WV Ronald Prabir, Executive Magistrate Tahmilur Rahman, District Women affairs officer Anjana Bhattachariya, Deputy Regional Director of Chittagong Betar Amanur Rahman Khan, District Shishu Affairs officer GM Abdus Salam, Labour Kazi Shahidul Islam among others spoke on the occasion.
