The annual picnic 2019 of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) was held at Aladin’s Park in Dhamrai, Dhaka recently. The event was a grand gathering of around 900 members of BUFT family. Muzaffar U. Siddique, Founder Chairman, Board of Trustees, BUFT and Reaz-Bin-Mahmud, Founder Member, Board of Trustees, BUFT were present as distinguished guests, while Prof Dr Engr Ayub Nabi Khan, Vice-Chancellor (Acting); Md. Shahjahan, Registrar; ANM Rafiqul Alam, DSW; Prof Dr Md. Sanaullah, Controller of Exam; Deans, Md. Nazmul Hossain, CFO; Md. Shahidullah, Head of Logistics, Heads of the Departments were present at the occasion along with other Faculty members, officials, students and staff. More than 500 students of different batches including faculty members, staff attended and enjoyed the activities throughout the day. After reaching the venue, all participants enjoyed the natural beauty and rides of the Aladin’s Park.
The event was followed by an amusing cultural program performed by BUFT students. This programme was organized by the BUFT Cultural Club. Different events of sports and games were also organized for the students, faculty members, officers and staff followed by a raffle draw at the end of the cultural programme.
The programme ended up with a prize giving ceremony. Muzaffar U Siddique, Founder Chairman, Board of Trustees, BUFT distributed the prizes among the winners.
