BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT), Bangladesh signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Wuhan Textile University, China on last Wednesday at the President office of Wuhan Textile University.
Tipu Munshi, MP and Ex President of BGMEA, Member of the Board of Trustees of BUFT and Prof Wei Yiliang, President, Wuhan Textile University signed the MoU on the behalf of their universities.
Through this MoU, BUFT and Wuhan Textile University agreed to cooperate for developing academic, professional and cultural exchange of students, faculty and research staff, curriculum, product and design development, credit transfer, joint exhibition, fashion design competition, student scholarship and tuition waiver, etc.
Among others, members of the Board of Trustees of BUFT, Md Shafiul Islam, Ex President of BGMEA, Faruque Hassan, Ex Vice President of BGMEA, Siddiqur Rahman, Ex Vice President of BGMEA and Pro Vice Chancellor of BUFT, Prof Dr Engr Ayub Nabi Khan were present on the occasion.
Prof Lin Li, Director, Dept. of International Cooperation and Development, elaborated various academic activities of Wuhan Textile University in the event.
