Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Employees Welfare Club elections for the year 2022-2023 was held recently. Md. Zahirul Haque was elected as the President and Md. Ahsanul Habib as the General Secretary.
Vice President Md. Abul Kalam Azad and Md. Ismail, Deputy General Secretary Noor Mohammad, Sports Secretary Mohammad Tajul Islam, Treasurer Mohammad Ali, Literary and Cultural Resources Mohammad Mustafizur Rahman, Publicity Secretary Md. Aminul Islam, Office Secretary Md. Kabir Hossain, Library Secretary Md. Abu Hanif, Assistant Sports Secretary Taijul Islam Tanu were elected in the election.
Besides, Md. Suruj Mia, Kazi Emdad Hossain, Md. Omar Ali, Md. Abu Talib and Md. Noor Hossain were elected as members.
Dr. Mohammad Faisal, Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, BUET served as the Chief Election Commissioner.
