Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) will hold the final admission test for the academic year 2020-21 on November 6.
Earlier, the preliminary selection test for admission will be held on October 20 and 21. The decision was taken in a recent meeting of the university council. A final decision in this regard will be taken at the Academic Council meeting.
Admitting the matter, BUET VC Professor Satya Prasad Majumder said, “Our preliminary selection test will be held on October 20, 21. The final examination of those who have passed the preliminary selection will be taken on November 6. A final decision in this regard will be taken at the meeting of the Academic Council. Then it will be officially announced.”
BUET suspended its admission test for an indefinite period at the Academic Council meeting on June 22. In a statement issued on the same day, BUET said that the date of the admission test will be announced at least 10 days before the preliminary selection test.
