Today Monday (14th October 2019) Undergraduate Admission Tests of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) under academic session 2019-2020 was held on the university premises. The admission tests of the aspirants of the Engineering Faculties were held from 9 am to 12 pm while the tests of Architecture Faculty were held from 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm in two phases. A total of 12,161 students appeared the tests against 1060 seats under different faculties of the university. The applicants were not allowed to take mobile phones, smart watches or any other electronic devices in the examination halls except admit card, pen, pencil and calculators of approved models.
Professor Dr. Saiful Islam Honorable Vice-Chancellor of BUET visited different examination centers on the campus. Prof. Dr. Pran Kanai Saha, Chairman of Admission Committee, Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahbubur Rahman, Registrar, Prof Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Director, DSW and other teachers of the university accompanied the Vice-Chancellor during his visit.
