The defence sector is going to get Tk34,827 crore allocation in the new proposed budget of 2020-21 fiscal year.
In the previous fiscal year, the sector got Tk32,650 crore allocation.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal proposed the budget of FY 2020-21 at the parliament on Thursday. This is his second time proposing budget as the finance minister.
He proposed a budget of Tk5,68,000 crore for the next fiscal year.
