Smriti Barua, a Buddhist widow was allegedly harassed and threatened by the terrorists again in Banskhali Upazila in the district recently.
It is learnt that she has lost her husband and son Jiku Barua and became homeless following the physical harassment and threat from the terrorists.
A recent threat to Smriti Barua has made her life miserable. In such a grim situation she is seeking help from the law enforcers and authorities concerned to make her life secured.
The minority Buddhist community of the area have been passing days amid insecurity, it is widely alleged.
