The members of a Buddhist family are passing days amid panic in Chittagong.
It is alleged that Shimul Kanti Barua, a Buddhist leader is being repeatedly threatened by some anti-Buddhist terrorists.
He is the Vice- President of Kaharghona Mingiritala Parijat Aram Buddhist Temple, Banskhali Bouddha Samity and Bangladesh Bouddha Smriti-Juba. He is also a Buddhist religious teacher for Rissho Kosei-Kai, Chittagong Branch.
The terrorists are threatening abduction of minor children of Shimul Kanti Barua of as a part of their heinous act of destroying Buddhist culture and religious values.
Being panic-stricken he is compelled not to let his children go to school and asked for the safety of his family members from the law enforcing authorities.
