A Buddhist family was allegedly attacked by a group of miscreants at No 2 gate area in Chittagong city recently.
A GD was also lodged at Panchlaish Police Station by Biplob Barua in Chittagong( GD No.684, date-12-06-14) in this connection.
He is the son of Songo Das Barua of village of Silkata under Satkania police station in in Chittagong.
His family members alleged that some unidentified miscreants attacked Biplob Barua on June 10 when he returned home after finishing his brother’s treatment at Chittagong Medical College at about 5.30 pm .
Some miscreants attacked them and dropped him out from the CNG and beat him mercilessly. When he shouted the passers-by came forward and the miscreants flee away the spot and threatened him not to file any case.
If they try to file any case they will be killed, he added . Following the incident, the family members of Biplob Barua have been facing lack of security and passing their days in anxiety and fear.
