BUBT Robi hosts webinar on Career Progression in Digital and Post-Covid era

A webinar on “Career Progression in the Digital and Post-Covid Era” was jointly hosted by Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) and RobiAxiata Limited in the evening on October 24, 2020. The webinar was inaugurated byProf. Dr. Md. Fayyaz Khan, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, BUBT.Mr. MahtabUddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO, RobiAxiata Limited was the Key Speaker while Prof. Dr. Md. Ali Noor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, BUBT and other high officials of BUBT were connected. Facebook page of BUBT and Robi lived the program.
The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Fayyaz Khan said that BUBT is in a process to make collaboration with mobile operators interms of providing hassle free mobile internet and digital classrooms. He also said that Covid 19 cannot stop our routine if we have fearlesschanges.
The CEO of RobiAxiata Ltd.Mr. MahtabUddin Ahmed delivered a significant presentation on the title. He said that only government can takekeyinitiative to provide better mobile internet service for users especially for students. Government can provide operators more bandwidth with low price and reduced tax rate. He suggested students not to be tensed long with Covid 19 pandemic as its solution is not at our hand. Students should look for new opportunities in this situation. According to Mr. Mahtab, Innovations like Block chain, Artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0 will create new jobs for skilled youths; theseare not good for old and current job market though. He suggested that students should be adopted in new technologies and new knowledge to survive in post Covid19 and future digital era.
