Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) organized an orientation program of undergraduate students of BBA, English, Economics, EEE, Textile Engineering and Law under Summer-2018 semester at the University Hall Room, Rupnagar in the city on Wednesday.
Prof Md. Abu Saleh, Vice Chancellor of BUBT in chief guest’s speech congratulated new students and said, with higher study, students have responsibility to build the nation. He urged students to be aware of terrorism and extremism.
Prof Md. Enayet Hossain Miah, Treasurer also gave directive speech to the students. Prof Mian Lutfar Rahman, Proctor delivered welcome speech. Prof Anwarul Huq, Dean, Faculty of Arts presided over the program.
Prof Dr Mohammed Rubaiyat Chowdhury, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Prof Dr Syed Masud Husain, Dean, Faculty of Business; Prof Dr Syed Sarfaraj Hamid, Dean, Faculty of Law spoke at the orientation.
Prof AB Md. Badruddoza Mia, Controller of Examinations led the Prayer at the same program for departed soul of BUBT student Masud Rana who was recently killed in a road crash at Mirpur.
Ashraful Alam Roni, Lecturer of English anchored the program. Old students, teachers, officials and chairmen of different departments were present at the program.
