Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) organized an orientation program of all faculties recently for the new undergraduate students enrolled in the Spring Semester held at the University Hall Room, Rupnagar in the city. Students, members of BUBT Trust, Deans of all faculties, chairmen of different departments, teachers and officials were present at the program.
Prof Dr Shafique Ahmed Siddique, Chairman, BUBT Trust as chief guest of the 2nd session of the program congratulated the newly admitted BSc in CSE, EEE and Textile Engineering students and asked them to be prepared to face the 21st century’s challenges. He said that BUBT has all kind of necessary facilities to make the students smarter to build better careers.
Prof Md. Abu Saleh, Vice Chancellor of BUBT as the session chair explained disciplinary issues of the university. Profr Mian Lutfar Rahman, Advisor, Students’ Affairs and Prof Dr Mohammed Rubaiyat Chowdhury, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences also spoke at the program.
In the earlier session of the program for the students of BBA, BA in English, LLB and BSc in Economics
AFM Sarwar Kamal, Former Chairman, BUBT Trust also spoke as the Chief Guest.
Prof Md. Enayet Hossain Miah, Treasurer, Prof Syed Anwarul Huq, Dean, faculty of Arts and Humanities, Prof Dr Syed Masud Husain, Faculty of Business and of Social Sciences, Prof Dr Syed Sarfaraj Hamid, Dean, Faculty of Law, Dr Md. Harun-Or-Rashid, Registrar, Prof AB Md. Badruddoza Mia, Controller of Examinations, M Azharul Haque, Chairman, Department of EEE, Prof Dr M. Ameer Ali, Chairman, Department of CSE and Wing Commander (Retd.) Md. Momenul Islam, Proctor also addressed the students. Tawhidul Kabir, Assistant Professor, Dept of Management and Md. Sabbir Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Dept of English anchored the sessions. Also was present members of BUBT Trust, Director, IQAC-BUBT, Joint Registrar, Chairmen of all departments, Director, M.B.A, Medical Officer, Etc.
