Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) donated Taka Ten Lacs to the Construction Fund of Liberation War Museum on Tuesday.
Prof Dr Shafique Ahmed Siddique, Chairman of BUBT Trust and Prof Md Abu Saleh, Vice-Chancellor of BUBT handed over the cheque of Tk ten lakh for Construction Fund to Mofidul Huque, one of the Trustees of Liberation War Museum at Segunbagicha in the city recently.
Prof Md. Abu Saleh said we fought for Independence; the spirit of Liberation War was predominating in our vein, which needs to be passed on to the next generation properly. It was very unfortunate to raise question as to the number of martyrs in Liberation War after more than 40 years of the event.
Prof Dr Shafique Ahmed Siddique, Chairman of BUBT Trust said the history of Bengali nation was the history of thousand years. It was our pride that we achieved our independence through Liberation War.
He asked – “Could we reveal the proper history of Liberation War after more than 40 years of the event?”
