11th National Parliamentary election: BTF candidate Pranesh starts campaign

Bangladesh Tarikat Federation (BTF) candidate Pranesh Pondit has began his election campaign from Mymensingh-3 on Monday evening through seeking blessings and greetings to the voters at Kaltapara Bazar in Gouripur upazila.
Though his party is a partner of the Awami League-led 14-party ruling alliance and the ruling party has kept aside two constituencies for Tarikat Federation, he is going to contest the 11th parliamentary elections with ‘ a garland of flowers’, BTF electoral symbol  
According to election observers, the polls are going to be competitive unlike the previous ones as all political parties are joining it under two major poetical alliances – the Grand Alliance and Jatiya Oikyafront. A total of 6 candidates from different political parties are contesting against Mymensingh-3 seat in the 11th parliamentary election scheduled for December 30.
Tarikat Federation people in this area love ‘ a garland of flowers”, its electoral symbol. and all followers supported the party. Such support will continue in the upcoming general election. BTF candidate Pranesh Pondit said these while exchanging opinions with local voters at Kaltapara Bazar in Gouripur upazila on Monday evening. At this time, Pranesh Pondit’s supporters and workers were present.
He also told The New Nation, “Hopefully, many followers will choose ‘ a garland of flowers, the symbol of love, peace and blessing that spread over to all voters and good citizens. Besides winning is no factor but our work is noble. I belong to the ideology of Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizvandary, chairman of the party.”
