Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) is going to convert 10,000 telephone numbers under Khilgaon Exchange to 8-digit number aimed at providing modern and quality services.
All seven-digit numbers of “721” group will be replaced by the new 8-digit number from April 24 gradually, said a BTCL press release.
It said “4” will be added before all previous numbers while the remaining existing digit will be same.
List and information of old numbers and replaced new numbers will be available on the BTCL website: www.btcl.gov.bd
Besides, the customers would be informed the new numbers immediately after the change. Moreover, customers are requested to call 55120010 and 7253322 on office hours or call to 16402 for any query.
BTCL authority regretted to its valued customers for the unexpected inconvenience, the release added.
