A mobile court of Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) fined two companies in the capital’s Adabor for weight forgery on Thursday.
The mobile court was led by Executive Magistrate Nafisa Naj Nira while Inspector Md Billal Hossain and Md Injamamul Haque were present.
M/s Prince Bazar (Super shop) was fined Tk 100,000 for selling expired food and weight forgery while M/s Ajmiri Steel Corporation (steel shop) was fined Tk 20,000 for not having annual verification certificate and weight forgery.
