Bangladesh Sarak Paribahan Sramik Union (BSPSU) has been renamed as Dhaka Zilla Sarak Paribahan Sramik Union (DZSPSU) following an order of the High Court (HC) of the Apex Court. The newly DZSPSU will use the previous registration number No. B-494.
The HC joint bench of Justice Moinul Islam Chowdhury and Justice J B M Hassan passed the order on December 15, said a press release signed by Abdur Rahim Munshi, General Secretary of the DZSPSU.
The order made by a hearing of a petition of Abdur Rahim Munshi, on behalf of the DZSPSU.
The court also gave an instruction to run the all types of activities of the organization in the name of DZSPSU (Reg. No. B494).
It also declared Md Safar Ali as president and Abdur Rahim Munshi as a General Secretary of the Executive Committee of DZSPSU.
Earlier, Bangladesh Labour Department gave a certificate in the name of the BSPSU by changing the main name of DZSPSU, on May 5 in 2001.
