Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA), the oldest association of sports journalist, beat India High Commission by 66 runs in the exhibition T20 match held on Friday at the BKSP ground in Savar.
Batting first after winning the toss, BSPA scored 159 for 5 from reduced 16 overs with Mhedi Hasan Rumel scoring 42 runs off 32 balls and Sadman Sakib making 37 runs off 17 balls.
Ashraf of India High Commission bagged two wickets conceding 25 runs.
In reply, India High Commission found the chase very stiff as they restricted at 93 for 9 from their allotted 16 overs.
Ashok K Shah top scored with 22 runs while Chintu Chang added 16 runs for India High Commission.
Mehedi Hasan Rumel, after an impressive batting performance, also shine with ball as he grabbed three wickets conceding 19 runs. Shoyeb and Tonmoy supported him with two wickets apiece.
