The Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) sports carnival concluded on Tuesday through a formal ceremony at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium.
National Sports Council Secretary Ashok Kumar Biswas was the chief guest on the closing day of the competition and distributed the prizes among the winners.
Kabirul Islam emerged sportsman of BSPA 2016 by basis of rating among the best players of all six games.
Organised by BSPA, a total of hundred participants took part in the six different disciplines – chess, carom, table tennis, shooting, and archery – of five-day sports festival.
