Bangladesh Sports Press Association(BSPA) expressed deep shock on death of Abdul Haque, father of senior member of the organisation Mahmudul Hasan Shamim, also news editor of private satellite channel Desh TV, a BSPA press release said on Monday. He was 84.
Abdul Haque is survived by four sons, two daughters and countless well-wishers to mourn his death.
The retired school teacher Haque has been suffering for complicated diseases for a long time and breathed his last on Sunday.
The BSPA president, general secretary and members conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
