Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Vietnam Maritime University (VMU) recently with a view to exchanging academic activities, faculties and students. The signing ceremony was arranged at the campus of VMU located at Vietnam. The Vice-Chancellor of BSMRMU, Rear Admiral ASM Abdul Baten on behalf of BSMRMU and Vice President of VMU, Dr Phan Xuan Duong on behalf of VMU signed the MoU.
By signing the MoU both the universities will be able to exchange academic information, faculties and students as well. Laila Arzuman Banu, Joint Secretary of Ministry of Education, Cdre S Mahmudul Hasan, Dean, Faculty of Earth and Ocean Science of BSMRMU and Cdr M Nazmul Hasan, Director (International Cooperation and Exchange), BSMRMU attended the signing ceremony as well.
