The sole maritime specialized public university of country, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU), Bangladesh holds its 16th Syndicate meeting at the conference room of the temporary campus located at Pallabi, Dhaka.
The meeting was presided over by Vice-Chancellor of the University, Rear Admiral M Khaled Iqbal and attended by the other syndicate members of the university.
Various important matters of the university were discussed and decisions were taken unanimously. It may be mentionable that discussion on organizing university’s first convocation, decision on opening of probable institutes, faculties and departments within next 03 years, approval of proposed weekend for 2018 of the university,etc.
The syndicate members expressed their satisfaction over the overall activities of the university and hoped for the quick progress of this university.
