Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Friday organised a voluntary blood donation programme to mark the National Mourning Day and the 40th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and 11th anniversary of Aug 21 grenade attack.
BSMMU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan inaugurated the programme at the university campus.
Pro VC (Admin) Prof Dr M Sarfuddin Ahmed, Dean of dental department Dr M Ali Asgor Morol, Registrar and transfusion medicine department Chairman Prof Dr M Asadul Islam, Director (Hospital) Brigadier General (Retd) M Abdul Majid Bhuyian were present among others.
