Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Tuesday observed the International Nurses Day to raise awareness about the important role of nurses in the healthcare and in society.
Every year the Day is observed around the world on May 12 marking the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale. The theme for this year is ‘Nurses: A Force for Change: Care Effective, Cost Effective’.
BSMMU in this connection organized a discussion where BSMMU Vice- Chancellor Professor Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan was the chief guest.
