Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) yesterday rolled out Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine.
Besides the BSMMU center, the Pfizer vaccine will be rolled out in seven more centers on Saturday, said the BSMMU authorities.
While visiting the BSMMU vaccine centers in the capital, it was seen that people from different walks of life were waiting for the Pfizer vaccine. At two booths of BSMMU, four recipients are being vaccinated at the same time. The program started at 10 am and continued till 3 pm.
BSMMU Deputy Director Khorshed Alam said they have a target of vaccinating 400 people. The vaccine rollout will continue till 3 pm. If there are people, the vaccine program will continue a while more.
