India’s Border Security Force (BSF) shot a Bangladeshi along the Beurjhari area in Baliadangi upazila early Sunday.
The injured, 30-year-old Md Dulal, is the son of Md Sabratur, a resident of Charuigati village of the upazila. Quoting locals, Amjankhor Union Parishad Chairman Akalu Muhammad said BSF personnel shot Dulal when he was trying to bring cows from India.
Dulal crossed the border with a gunshot wound and is currently being treated at a clinic in Rangpur, he added.
