BSF picks up two cattle traders

One Bangladeshi cattle trader was picked up by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) from borders in Thakurgaon districts on Wednesday.
BSF arrested a cattle trader at Dabri border point in Haripur upazila early Wednesday.
The arrestee is Md Farid, 40, son of Abul Hossain of Pachdaria village in the upazila, said an official of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
A BSF patrol team picked up Farid at 1:30am when he entered the Indian territory near the border to bring cattle.
The cattle trader was later handed over to Goalpukur police station in Uttar Dinajpur district of Pashchimbanga, said Major Touhid Bin Ishaq, intelligence officer of BGB-30 Battalion.
BGB had sent a letter to its Indian counterpart, demanding return of Farid, he said.
