Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over four Bangladeshi nationals to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) at Jaynagar check post in Darsana area of Damurhuda upazila on Sunday noon.
The returnees are: Fatema Bibi, 40, wife of Abdus Salam, a resident of Mathura village on Chakaria upazila of Cox’s Bazar district, their sons Helal Uddin, 18, and Mohammad Hossain, 10, and daughter Ayesha Khatun, 7.
According to BGB, Fatema Bibi along with her sons and daughter entered the India territory illegally through Hili border in search of job there on March 17, 2011. Indian police arrested them on the same day from Malda railway station.
