Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) arrested five Bangladeshi construction workers at Balughat in Paschim Dinajpur of India while they were entering the country without valid documents on Monday night.
Identities of the arrestees could not be known immediately.
Confirming the incident, Additional Director of Joypurhat Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Battalion-3 Nasir Imam Rumi said BSF troops from Sidai camp in Paschim Dinajpur arrested the five Bangladeshis while they were entering the Indian territory without passport through Hatkhola border in Panchbibi upazila in Joypurhat district at about 11:00 pm.
