For the first time, Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) will provide training to 51 female cadets from Bangladesh Marine Academy for recruitment in BSC.
It was decided in the 6th meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Shipping held recently at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
The meeting was informed that 14 women officers and 19 female cadets have already been recruited to six ships.
The meeting had an elaborate discussion on Shipping Ministry, Bangladesh Shipping Corporation and National River Protection Committee’s overall project implementation and development.
The meeting was informed that six new ships were added to the Bangladesh Shipping Corporation’s fleet.
