BRU to cut mark for wrong answer

Begum Rokeya University (BRU), Rangpur launched negative marking in the Admission Test for the first time this year. In the test 0.25 marks will be cut for each wrong answer.
Admission test will be held within 100 marks where 80 marks as MCQ and another 20 marks will be defined on the basis of SSC and HSC results. Pass marks have been decreased from 40 to 35, according to Public Relation, Information And Publication Division, BRU.
According to the university’s website, in the Admission Test, the seat has been fixed 1315 in this year, 85 seats have been increased than that of previous. The increasing seats are, 30 in social science, 5 in BBA, 40 in science, and 10 in Engineering And Technology Faculty. But the admission test registration fee has not been changed. Besides, Neuter and Evaporate Enclave Quota have been removed. Vice Chancellor of the University and Chairman of the Admission Test Committee Prof Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BTFO presided over the meeting regarded admission test. Decisions regarding admission have been taken in the meeting. However, BRU Admission Test of 2017-18 session will be held on November 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30.
