A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Begum Rokeya University (BRU), Rangpur and Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University (BSFMSTU signed on Monday at the Liaison Office of BSFMSTU.
BRU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BNCCO and Vice Chancellor of BSFMSTU Prof Dr Syed Samsuddin Ahmed signed the MoU on behalf of their respected institutions.
Registrar of BSFMSTU Khondokar Hamidur Rahman, Director of Finance and Planning of BSFMSTU Engineer Abdur Razzak, Dr Saber Ahmed Chowdhury, Member of Board of Governors, Dr Wazed Research and Training Institute, BRU, Lecturer Sohag Ali, Md. Yousuf, Mostafa Kaiyum Sharafat, Md. Sarwar Ahmad, Mashraky Mustary, Beauty Mondol, Sahibur Rahman, Monirul Islam, Fahimul Kader Siddique, Engineer Shahriar Aquif,Marjia Sultana, Khadija Akter, Md. Nuruzzaman and employees of BRU and Sabbir Hossain of BSFMSTU were present among others.
According to the MoU, BRU and BSFMSTU agree to the establish collaborative academic activity and to provide opportunities for faculties by BRU and BSFMSTU for undertaking Mphil, PhD Research and others special courses leading to relevant degrees/ diploma/ certificates as admissible by govt/UGC rules and procedures.
BSFMSTU thanked Prof Dr Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimulla, BNCCO, Vice Chancellor of BRU and BRU authorities for signing the MoU and hope that it would play an important role for faculties and students of BRUR and BSFMSTU.
