BRU all online exams postponed

All online undergraduate and postgraduate examinations of Begum Rokeya (BRU) University have been postponed from July 4 due to government guidelines and strict lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) in the country. The test date will be re-announced at the earliest after the ongoing strict lockdown in the country.
In an emergency meeting on Saturday (July 3) in the meeting room of the administrative building of BRU, Academic Council took the decision with the Vice Chancellor Dr. Md. Hasibur Rashid in the chair.
Deans and department heads of various faculties including Sarifa Salwa Dina took part in the meeting online.
Besides, Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology, Gopalganj Dr AQM Mahbub and Shuchita Sharmin, Professor of Development Studies, Dhaka University attended the meeting.
It is to be noted that due to the Corona situation, the ongoing examinations in different departments of the university were postponed in February this year as per the instructions of the Ministry of Education.
The decision was taken at the Deans Committee meeting held on June 24 to take all the postponed exams online from July 4.
Meanwhile, in the ongoing corona situation to comply with the government health rules, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Hasibur Rashid appealed to all teachers-students and officers-employees.
